Hal is responsible for evaluating real estate and other entities for potential investment, tracking performance of investments made by family partnerships, and all banking activities and investor reporting for businesses managed by the family partnership. He directs staff to maintain financial records of family businesses and prepare documents for annual tax reporting while also managing daily operations and financial reporting of an imported food wholesaler.

Here, Hal led his team in developing the first-ever, customized itinerary pricing and fare quoting system for Japan Airlines (JAL) and its subscribers. At the same time, he managed a phased software delivery schedule requiring coordinated resource planning over a six-month period. Hal led the departmental management group in developing an annual $30M Operating and Capital Plans and, also, developed procedures to streamline both processes resulting in a 20% cost savings. He managed a team engaged in anticipating and meeting the needs of department’s largest internal customer and was responsible for coordination of an annual $70M customer-sponsored manpower budget and monthly project headcount reporting. Hal received Customer Service Commendation for customer management.
